Casual FOTD - Brown and Pink

I did a video tut the other night, but still can't figure out how to use iMovie yet, so I'm going to wait until the video is complete with credit and music to put it out. I get so frustrated with technology, sometimes i'll start tearing up. lol.

whatever, i'll figure it out one day. so here are what i used:
Face:
GA Modeling Compact in 5.5
Dior Skinlight highlighter/concealor under eyes
GA LS loose powder in #2 all over

Cheeks:
Guerlain Blush and Sun in Sunlight as blush
MAC MSF in Goldspill as contour

Eyes:
KATE dual carat e/s in BR-2 (a cool taupe brown and pink shimmer color)
Lancome e/l, forgot the name
Shiseido Mascara Base
L'Oreal Naturale Volumnize mascara

Lips:
Chanel Glossimer in some pink color

Co-Star Daisy dukes... she won't look at the camera, she's too busy sniffing my face.. just in case i've got some left over rice hanging on my lip, she can get to it b4 i notice...

I went to Bergdorf again to exchange/return the wrong lipstick she gave me, and the e/s. I noticed that P&J's point makeup is very glittery, but when you put it on, it disappears. I brought it up to her attention, and she said it's crushed sea shells and pearls, it's so fine you won't feel it. I got a few more items, so I'll be doing a P&J FOTD soon. She's so sweet, she gave me a bunch of samples and free stuff, b/c she felt bad for giving me wrong lip stick. =P Here is her contact info, in case you want to order anything from P&J..

Merrady Phipps

P&J new holiday collection is coming out the begining of Oct. Merrady spilled some beans and told me there is a new set of Eye Gloss (new formula and color), a loose powder eye shadow (new product), OH! and the Disney themed collection that was out in Japan last yr, yea, It's coming to NYC next month! I'm so eyeing the lip balm. =P

I'm leaving for Vegas on Thursday... I'm so excited! I can't wait... AND it's my BIRTHDAY on Friday~~ I'm going to be 24 years young! There is much to be reflected, but more so, there is much to be celebrated. IMMA GET CRUNKED BITCHES~

Paul & Joe Haul

Fuz was right. I wasn't able to control myself and wet my panties when I saw the Paul & Joe counter at Bergdorf. Weird thing though, I'm much drawn by the lipsticks than e/s these days.. it must be that Fall is in the air~~~

LE Sparkle Collection Lippie in #59 , $20- it's a dark brown when you look at it straight out of tube, but when put on, it's a nice creamy milky latte color, perfect for fall and it's not too dark for the office. one thing, this is the only lippie from this collection that has glitters, you can't see it from the tube, and when put on lips, it's very subtle, not at all sparkley, but when you try to remove it, oh god, glitter horror! definitely need a lippie remover for this..

LE Sparkle Collection Lippie in #59 - the SA gave me the wrong color. this one is beige color, which i don't like to wear too often, it tends to wash me out. i wanted the rose color, which is a MLBB color on me. so i'm gonna go exchange it today..

Treatment Oil - I bought this on a whim. When I tested the new Creamy Foundation from the sample packet, my face looked HORRIBLE! there were dry patches on my forehead and cheeks, it looks like they were white crust that's starting to peel. so fucking disgusting! i've always had an unbalanced skin, but in between season it gets even worse! i've been using pure shea butter and coconut oil at night, but apparently it hasn't helped! so when the SA was putting on the Dual Foundation, i asked her if there is anything that could help with the dry patch. She patted 2 drops of this potion on my dry patches, went on to apply the foundation. violaaaa... dry patches gone! smooth radiant skin. not oily at all. I feel in the love and paid $45 for a bottle of oil. it's a blend of a bunch of essential oils, i mean i know EVOO probably could do the trick too, but this bottle is so pretty, and the opening for the oil is so innovative, so you won't spill a whole bunch out. i'll do a more in depth review on all sorts of oils later on..

Protective Dual Powder Foundation UV SPF20 PA ++, 8 shades, I got it in #30. $ 38. I usually use mineral makeup, but i hate how they are loose powders, so it's messy to bring them around. liquid foundation requires too much work. so powder foundation has been my lately fav. The powder is very smooth and fine. when first put on, i thought i looked a little bit too powdery for my liking, but about 1 hr later, as the natural oil come out of my skin, the foundation looked so radiant and glowy. i get pretty oily in my t zone. but after 4 hours in a rest. eatting hot food and steak cooked literally 2 inches away from my face, the makeup was in tact, not melting in my food. i'm pleased with it so far. We'll see if it breaks me out like MAC Studio Fix.

LE Facecolor in #58 - it's a purple/lilac with champane shimmer. I'm returning this today.. i love purple and it's my favorite e/s color. but i simply have way too many of it. plus the champane side is mostly glitter/shimmer, not so much color pay off. packaging like this is nice, but i like e/s with applicator inside better. pure laziness with using a brush/washing a brush. wonderful purple color though. but for $20, i think I can do better.
this is just a tag along review..
Biore makeup cleansing oil - i got it for $10 at Mitsuwa. I vow to be loyal to my Shu Balancing Oil, but some times curisity get the best of me. The consistency is more watery than Shu's. When you first put the face, it feels like cool water, with a slight cooling feeling. the texture is thinner and more smooth. i thought, oh great, it ain't gonna remove shit. sometimes companies water down their oil and at the end you end up just removing the foundation. but i need heavy duty do-it-all. i don't have the time to do a second round with waterproof mascara. surprisingly, this oil removed EVERYTHING. my skin was smooth and not tight. OMG, i think it's better than my Shu! Usually Shu leaves a tiny bit of mascara behind if I don't massage my face long enough (my half ass job days). But this one actually got EVERYTHING. i didn't see any black mark under my eyes and no tiny dots of macara on my face. Fantastic~~ me like-y. I'll continue to use it and keep y'all updated..

New Lemming - Paul & Joe

I love this background from P&J's website.. Can anyone help me with html coding stuff, so I can get this to be my background? I knew I shoulda never flirt with the guy next to me in my freshman Tech Intro Class... =(

I went to the Japanese book store on 46th and 5th and was looking through magazines to see which one had a "gift". Lo and behold, Biteki had the new P&J base makeup samples in a cute little draw string pouch. Sooo cuteee... Anyways, I bought the magazine at double the original Yen price, looked through pictures while sitting on the shitter, and preserved this little gem until now..

I think I'm ready to open it now. It came with 2 Moisterizing Foundation Primer, in color01 and 03, and a Creamy Power Compact Foundation SPF 15 PA+ in 30. The pouch is so adorable, it's drawstring and made out of pretty good silky material, not like the cheap plastic Elle bags they give you when you sign up. I'm gonna use it as my tempon bag. yay..

It's almost 1pm, the samples are still sitting in my handbag. I had planned to bring this in and do my makeup at work. But I don't think I'm ready for Fall foundation yet. it says Creamyyy... meaning really moisterizing... But it's like 88 degrees with 20% humidity in NYC now. Hurricane Hannah's coming tomorrow... man.. it's like Sept already, stop it with the hurricane shit.

anyways, Bergdorf Goodman is like 4 blocks away from my work, I might just take a walk there after my super big lunch (chow fun and pea pod, so fulllll.. mind you i usually have a banana for lunch). I'm so afraid I might cave when I see those pretty things on display. I love their new collection - Sparkle. It's not as crazy as last yr's design (some aminal print stuff and scary faces on the outside packaging, wtf?), and the femine soft packaging is really getting to me!

Here is another list..

Mood: Happy, ready for the wknd.

Lunch: Chow Fun with Pea Pod, left over from last night's dinner

Outfit: Juicy Couture Black Jersey Dress... love it, so soft, so I don't have to suck in my pot belly

Drinks: Smart Water... i can really taste the difference..

To-do List: Call Directv to set up the damn DVR.. pick out the wedgie I'm sitting on right now.. Sharpen my red pencils... preferrable to do it while Mike's on a call, so the noise can annoye him..

Shoes: Enzo Gladiator Sandals in Mustard Yellow (I know it clashes with my toe nail color, but who gives a shit)

Plans: Tonight - dinner at EN Japanese Brasserie (yay to Yuba.. made fresh every hour..), have sex with H if my period's not here yet (i specify H b/c he might assume it's Pinky's turn tonight, tehehe.. guess who Pinky is...or i might just be a hoe and have a threesome tonight *watch H's eyes twinkling*), sit my ass on the couch and let out a few farts to lure Daisy to come smell it.. (she LOVES farts.. weird dog, i know, still cute though)

Once in a blue moon...

I swear I thought today was Tuesday. Imagine the joy when I finally realized it's WEDNESDAY. Hump day baby! This week's gonna pass by so fast! Yay~ Anyways, without further a dieu. Let me introduce, Blue Moon Cafe.

You might have seen this place on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives", which by the way is my favorite late night food network show. All those late night indulgence, yea, blame Guy. Anyways, I've been wanting to try this place since forever, but the space is so limited, it's almost impossible to get a table. You can't call ahead to make a reservation, you have to physically be there to wait.
So, to beat the crowd, the 6 of us woke up at 7:30am on a Sat. morning and drove 140miles from the Poconos, PA to Baltimore, MD. That's love man, I don't know how many people would do that. On top of that, we waitted 1.5hours to get a table. In the mean time, we drove to Fadley's at Lexington market to get some fresh blue crabs, 3 dozens, xl size. While we were at it, we ate some raw oysters, little neck clams and those huge clams that's like 50 cents, i forgot the name, but it was so fucking yummy! anyways, that's another post...

Cap'n Crunch French Toast.. their signature and must I say, THE BEST FUCKING FRENCH TOAST I HAVE EVER HAD! the little bity bites of cap'n crunch mingled with the soft toasty french toast.... ooohhhhh.... you gotta try this for yourself. personally, i felt the 2.5 hr drive, 1.5 hr wait, was well worth it. Just the homemade wiped cream alone, i'm willing to drive 5 hours, jump over a fire hoop and eat a spider for.

some dishes, the boring, non-advanturous people ordered... spanish omelette, and some simple sausage and egg with hash brown. the hash brown was really good though. crispy and nicely golden.

how could you not have crabs while in baltimore? Crab, Tomato and Cucumber Eggs Benedicts. And the Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Eggs Benedicts.

My entire meal.. with the Cap'n Crunch French Toast, I added, hash brown, 2 eggs and bacon. I was so full, I wanted to throw up. But that's normal, that's usually when really good food happens to me. Then I get food coma and passed out during the ride back to Poconos.

Hola! Yo estoy BACK!

i'm back ladies, how was your long weekend? any bbqs? outlet sales? hitting the beach? I spent 3 relaxing days in the woods of PA, had some jungle sex and now i'm all refreshed and renewed.

I've gotta show you guys pictures of GRILLED MARYLAND BLUE CRABS. OMG~!!! it was so f---ing good, i ate like 7 of them! We all got up at 7:30am and drove 140 miles from Poconos to Baltimore, waitted another 2 hours for a seat at the famous Blue Moon Cafe, and bought 3 dozen XL Maryland Blue Crabs, and then drove 2.5 hours back. cranked up the grill, and you know it! FEAST TIME! food porn pix to come..

We did some horse back riding Sunday morning on the trail.. it was nice and sunny, perfect for an hour in the trees and getting in touch with nature. except it was so boring, i almost fell asleep. I'm not a skilled horse back rider, but i've riden horses, liking kicking it stomache and making it run before. i rode it so freaking hard, i had a blister on my ass and couldn't walk for a day or two. so this romantic slow walk through the trail was like rocking the craddle, putting me to sleep... oh wells, it was fun nevertheless.

The townhome we stayed in had Dish Network, so I caught up on some Taiwanese shows and chinese movies. It made me realized, if I had ever moved back to Asia, I probably will never spend a day in the woods like this, with a big lodge, AC, kitchen and grills. Life in Asia is so materialistic, it's scary how money focused people are. Not sure if that's what I want, but you never know until you try it right?

Vegas is coming up in 2 weeks!@!!! i'm so feakin excited~!! can't wait to wear my python gucci sandals. yippie~!

Oh yea, to answer a reader's question if my friends read my blog. They do. Some of them do at least. It's a little uncomfortable for me to have them find out about my life on the internet, a little sad acturally, b/c that just means we don't talk to each other quite often. But it's the internet, and i kept that in mind when i started the blog. i dont take this blog too seriously, its just bits and pieces of my mind, it's like a garbage can for my mind vomit. but i never name names, i don't believe in calling people on the internet, i just vent. i have no problem calling people out in front of their faces, but this blog kinda acts like a buffer, b/c b4 i do so, i might just vent here and organize my logic, so i have a winning battle at hand. maybe my friends should read this more, so they can know when shit's coming their way. lol. whatever, people come and go, it's not like anybody ever took me seriously enough to call me out anyways. i've given up on the idea of having a BEST FRIEND, you know who's my best friend? Daisy probably. She'd never leave me for anything or anyone. She's like glued to me once I get home. That unconditional love is indescribable. Also, she's so friendly to others, and so trusting, it makes me realize there are still innocence left in this world. it's just too bad human are so fucked up in the mind, that they turn into fucking corpses with no heart. Dogs Rules! if only I could become a dog in my next life...
