Smittened..

H smittens me to death and spoils me rotten, but this time, these two little guys just send me to the high heavens above. No need to bust out your shot gun, H, I'm talking about the MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study and La Mer Eye Balm.

Though the MAC Paint Pot is nothing new to any makeup junkie, but I've just recently been bitten by the MAC bug, so I'm on this ridiculous MAC-itis right now. I like UDPP, but sometimes, I wish I could do the shimmer higlight and base at the same time. Many people suggested Painterly, but when I tried it in person, it looks too pink and opaque for me. I like to have some kind of shimmer on my lid and not completely matt. Bare study is a sort of beige goldish color, which is perfect for highlighting. And the staying power is amazing! I've been putting this stuff on my eyes everyday, and that says a lot about anything I use.

I got a packet of La Mer Eye Balm tester from a swapper on MUA. I've always thought La Mer is over rated and "oh my god, if I hear another person saying Creme de La Mer is their favorite face cream - I will shoot myself". I'd love to say their $300 cream is my favorite too, but I just simply can't afford it and honestly, what 23-year-old need a $300 face cream? I don't want to train my skin to think it's too good for anything else when it gets old. Like when I'm 30, what? I'd have to use $1000 face cream? But anyways, since it's the winter and my eye area is dryer, I said why not give it a try? At first I thought it might be too thick and give me those little white dots under my eyes (usually happens when I use something too rich for my skin). But surprisingly, it sank in quite quickly, no oily feelings afterward, it just feel like butter going on toasted bread. Wowwwww... I likey..... H's in trouble. This is going on my xmas wishlist.

I'm going to buy H's 4th xmas gift today. And dad's xmas gift too. (I can't tell, cus H might be reading this blog, like when his smart ass was trying to find out what I want for xmas). Might get Mom the Shiseido Future Solution. $225!!! God damn! I guess I can't complain, cus my mom doesn't wear any makeup and used Shiseido Excelisor(sp?) line for as long as I can remember, and she looks incredibly radiant. Only if I got her genes!

Half day Monday! Yay~

back in the days

These pictures are circa 2003. Oh good lord, I should never keep old pictures of myself with horrible makeups. But it's interesting how I've moved on from mile high brows, thicks ass liquid liners and clownish eyeshadows.

I have these 4 palettes of Hard Card e/s that I just loved using, I still do, but just in a different way. I remember my favoriate was Maybelline eye liners and mascaras. Never wore any blushes. Never used a brush, fingers only. Had no idea how to put on foundation, I used a wedge and smudged it on, not patting, just smearing it all over my face. Had no idea what under eye concealers are.

Oh those were the days. Bad makeup, blonde highlights and even worse skin. But here I is, girls, exposed. Aside from maturing with better application skills and learning more about makeup, and of course, these wonderful blogs, I had got a few more helping hands.. I will mention that in another blog. Good night y'all.

I was tagged by The Faux Fashionista weeks ago for this game, but I never got to post it before I left for the cruise. So here it is...

Rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, to let them know that they have been tagged and to read the blog.

7 Random Facts and Habits about CuttiBeBe

  1. I hate it when toliet papers are set the wrong way. I like the paper coming down facing me. I change it everytime I see it, even in someone else's house.
  2. I never put my bare elbows on the table in any resturante, it's ok if I have long sleeve on. I just can't do it with my bare elbow. It's so gross.
  3. I still have 2 of my baby teeth. Yup, it's been there since I was 2 years old, and it's still here.
  4. I may seem like a princess sometimes, but I can rough it too. Your truly have been to Tibet and traveled in a SUV for 2 days to reach the Mount Everst Base Camp. 3 days with no showers. Oh and I rode a horse so hard, I got a blister on my butt. If you haven't rode a real horse before, just remember, it will feel like your pelvics is getting beat up for the first half hour, then you get used to it.
  5. The most annoying makeup don't I see on the street are people who wore makeup, but ignores their eye brows and doesn't curl their eye lashes. It's like.. what's point, you might as well just wipe that shit off, cus you just ate the fried chicken without the hot sauce. You just don't do that, they go together like a bowl and chopsticks, that's just how it works. In my book, you need your lashes curled and at least 5 coats of mascara.
  6. My bangs are usually long because I can't stand hair in my face. I use a hair band to pull it back even if I did get bangs. And my usual hair style is a messy bun or pony tail. Even though people tell me I have nice hair, I don't let it down or even blow dry it. Same thing as people tell me I have nice hands and nails, and I hate how my nails grow so fast and strong that it doesn't break on its own. I wish they do, so I don't have to cut my nails every 3 days.
  7. I once ate 72 skewers of beef kebob (the chinese kind, so it's not that big). Went to the hospital that night. I was 8.

I'm not going to tag anybody, because most of people have done so already. Thanks for those who tagged me. I will be sure to tell you all more about me later on. =)

Because I couldn't say it better myself...

Click

I'm still on the fence about it, but at least I admit it. There are good days and bad days, but I've gone through it all. I still remember the date 1/15/2007, the start of the darkest period of my life. I wish I had sought help faster, to stop it from manifesting my life. Sometimes denial is a bliss, but only if you are really good at it.

Hopefully 2008 will be a better year for me. I swear, the next time that I feel the urge to reach in my purse for that little pill bottle, I will go see a doctor. The last time I touched that thing was in April.

I just wish I could stop asking myself "why me? what have I done wrong? how can I feel happy again? where am I going in life? what have I done to deserve this?"

I just wish my mother could stop telling me that I'm weak and not as capable as before. I wish she could stop telling me that I was stronger when I was 9, when I flew across the globe by myself.

But these are the cards life dealt me.. There is no one to answer my questions.. There is no one to feel the pain.. Then why are they talking? why are they judging me? I wish they had felt what it feels like to live my life just for one day...

I'd rather live the imperfect life than the unhappy life.. but I'm just going to give this one last try... My will is standing strong now.. maybe.. just maybe tomorrow I will forget about it completely...

HELP!

I record a video of some of my recent purchases and I can't upload it to blogspot. So I was trying to upload to youtube, I think the file size is too big (20 mins) so they won't let me upload either. So I thought about cutting into 2 videos, like many bloggers out there do. I have a Sony Vaio and they have a movie maker program, but it's so crappy!

My beauty bloggers, please, would you tell me what program do you use to edit your movies? I am so frustrated! argh~!

Thanks!!!!!
